At Compass Home Inspections L.L.C. we as ASHI Certified Inspectors understand how important the investment in a home is. We believe that a home inspection can provide you with valuable information to aid in the purchase, sale and maintenance of a home. Whether you are buying a home, selling a home, or are a current homeowner with a desire to fully understand the overall condition of your home having the house inspected by competent Home inspection company is vital.

Compass Home Inspections L.L.C. provides excellent high quality home inspections, and inspection reports in a timely manner. We have over 23 years combined experience in the inspection business with an excess of 6,000 inspections performed in the Bay Area.

By using state of the art technology we are able to provide high quality, computer generated reports with digital color photographs. Our home inspections are completed using the HomeGauge home inspection software and Web services. This means you can view your report on line, and your report is available for your convenience for up to five years after the report has been uploaded.

Our home inspections typically take about 2 to 3 hours in most cases, which also includes answering your questions on site. These times will vary depending on the size, age and the condition of the home. Compass Home Inspections L.L.C. recommends and welcomes the client to be present during the inspection. The inspector performing the inspection will welcome questions during the inspection as well as give a full summary of the findings at the end of the inspection.

Brett Reeder with Compass Home Inspection is the most detailed oriented inspector Ken and I have ever dealt with. He produces a very concise report in a timely manner that is easy to read. He also gives a verbal summary of his findings to the agents and clients, and will walk you through any questions that might come up. He is extremely considerate and even brings a pair of slippers to wear in the house, so he doesn't track outside dirt in. We routinely have Brett inspect all our listings prior to going on the market and feel very confident when a buyer's agent brings in another inspector. There are never any surprises.
